電腦連接器卡扣結構件之分析與最佳化設計

Analysis and Optimum Design of Latch Structure for Computer Connector

摘要


本研究之目的是探討電腦連接器新型卡扣結構件之結構強度與尺寸最佳化設計方案,即在商品規範與設計空間條件下,尋找卡扣件在按壓過程符合設計要求的最佳化參數組合。研究方法包括根據設計功能、協會規範等通則繪製3D產品模型,再依據所擬定影響應力之關鍵設計參數,利用商用有限元素分析軟體及田口法求得滿足設計功能之最佳設計參數組合。本文考慮之設計控制因子包括按壓位移量、U形折彎部高度、力臂長度、與板金厚度。本研究個案成功找出符合設計要求之卡扣件尺寸,並製作樣品,再利用業界常使用之按壓位移-力量測試以驗證最佳化設計方案之結果與可行性。結果顯示,從原始設計到最佳化設計,等效應力值減少約38%;材料體積也大約減少36%。

The main aim of this study is to perform the structural analysis and search for the optimum design solution for the latest developed latch structure for computer connectors under predefined strokes. 3D CAD software is used to create a geometric model of the latch component, based on design rules specified in documents like product requirements and association specifications. Commercial finite element software is used to perform the stress analysis. Then, the Taguchi method is used to search for the optimum solutions of the latch component following the experimental procedures. In this study, the four design parameters studied are the strokes of pushing displacement allowed, the height of the curved portions of the U shape, the length of moment arm, and the thickness of the sheet metal. An optimum solution that satisfied the design criteria was generated. A simple force-displacement test used in industry is also conducted to verify the solution. The results show that equivalent stress and volume of latch component for optimal design are decreased by 38% and 36% respectively compared to the original design.
