改良式太陽光電模組陣列最大功率追蹤器之研製

DESIGN AND IMPLEM ENTATION OF A MODIFIED MAXIMUM POWER POINT TRACKER FOR PHOTOVOLTAIC MODULE ARRAYS

摘要


本文之主要目的在於提出一太陽光電模組陣列之改良型最大功率追蹤法。所提之最大功率追蹤法係以傳統擾動觀察法(perturb and observe method)為基礎,再以P-V特性曲線之斜率值,改變步階擾動量,藉以提高追蹤速度,同時亦降低工作點在穩態時之振盪量。所提改良型最大功率追蹤器係以Microchip公司所生產之PIC18F8720微控制器(microcontroller)結合升壓型轉換器(boost converter),實現所提之最大功率追蹤控制器。最後,並以實測結果驗證所提之改良型擾動觀察法,確實較傳統擾動觀察法具有更佳之動態及穩態響應性能。

The purpose of this paper is to propose an improved maximum power point tracking (MPPT) method for PV module arrays. The proposed MPPT method was based on traditional perturb and observe (P&O) method and can efficiently adjust its step-size to track the maximum power point of a PV array according to PV slope variation and then to reduce steady-state oscillation. The proposed improved maximum power point tracker was implemented using the PIC18F8720 microcontroller and combined with boost converter. Finally, some experimental results are also made to verify that the proposed improved maximum power point tracking method can provide a good dynamic response and steady-state performance for a photovoltaic power generation system.
