摘要

B.L. Driver所建構之進憩體驗理論，廣爲國內外學者所探用，且據以做了無數的戶外遊憩之實証研究，然而筆者卻發覺其理論基礎具有極爲根本的缺點及限制，作者乃一一闡述質疑其理論預設之理由，並提擬替代性之理念，希望能有助於建構較完備的遊憩體驗理論系統。

The Recreation Experiences Theory developed by B.L. Driver hasreceived wide application in U.S.A. and Taiwan. Many researchers use thistheory in numerous outdoor recreation empirical surveys without anysuspicion. The author criticizes not only the weakness andlimitation of B.L. Driver's theoretical foundation, but also proposesalternative concepts. Hopefully, the article may serve as a cornerstone for the construction of a more comprehensive Recreation Experiences Theory.
