The purpose of the study was to investigate the effect of recreational bikers' personal factors on the preferences for the physical attributes for biking activities. The bikers' personal factors included their demographic background, activity experience, activity motivation, and state of mind. The physical attributes contained elements of the natural setting, the built facility, and the socioculture relics. The research findings indicated only ”gender” had no effect on bikers' attribute preferences regarding the bikers' demographic background. In terms of activity experience, the findings suggested only ”year of participation” had significant effect on attribute preferences. In addition, the bikers' motivations affected attribute preferences significantly. As to the bikers' state of mind, the results revealed all the emotional factors had significant influence on attribute preferences. Finally, the research results suggested the order of importance of the three types of physical attributes was the natural setting, the built facility, and the socioculture relics, respectively. And the ratings of attribute preference showed significant difference among the three types of physical environments.
