The Internet, although a widely-acclaimed educational tool, can cause a lot of problems such as invasion of privacy and infringement of an individual's rights. The author describes some of the tips, suggestions, and measures that can help librarians, teachers, media specialists, and instructional technologists to protect themselves against any of these threats or illegal activities.
