China is becoming an important source of outward foreign direct investment (FDI) all over the world as a result of her unflagging and long- term economic growth. The purpose of this paper attempts to crystallize the facts and analyze the characteristics with respect to the official data. The goal of the central state-ownership enterprises is to fulfill the policy of the state and invest centrally in mine industry. The entry modes of the central state-ownership enterprises are vertical integration. The investments of non-central state-ownership and private enterprises focus on the manufacture industry. The incentive of them is to explore new market and update technology. The entry modes both of them include green investment and vertical integration.
