液相層析串聯式質譜儀在臨床檢驗的應用

摘要
液相層析串聯式質譜儀的發展至今已經超過20年，但進入臨床實驗室卻是21世紀初的事。目前用在定量人類檢體內的小分子濃度已經是非常常見的技術。現況台灣只有少數醫院引進液相層析串聯式質譜儀提供臨床服務。因此本綜論的目的是針對液相層析串聯式質譜儀的基本原理，設立質譜實驗室時需要考慮的事項以及現況的應用做說明，希望提供臨床實驗室未來引進液相層析串聯式質譜儀的參考。

Liquid chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) has been developed for over 20 years but emerged in clinical laboratories at the beginning of the 21^(st) century. It is an almost universal technology for the quantification of small molecules in human sample materials. At present only rather few clinical laboratories are equipped with LC-MS/MS systems in Taiwan. The purpose of this article is to provide information for laboratory staff to introduce LC-MS/MS in the clinical laboratories. This review focuses on the principles of LC-MS/MS, practical considerations in setting up LC-MS/MS laboratory and applications in clinical laboratories.
