新上市流感病毒核酸快速檢測系統之效能評估

Evaluation of a New Rapid Nucleic Acid Test for Detection of Influenza Virus A&B

摘要


近日上市一套流感病毒核酸快速檢測系統-Alere^(TM) i Influenza A&B,利用恆溫擴增反應技術原理,提供快速的流感病毒檢測。本次研究評估Alere^(TM) i Influenza A&B檢測流感病毒的效能。總共測試60件臨床剩餘檢體,以Real-time PCR做為參考方法來評估Alere^(TM) i的檢測效能。Alere^(TM) i對於A型流感的檢測敏感性為100%,專一性為95.1%;對於B型流感的檢測敏感性為93.3%,專一性為100%。結果顯示Alere^(TM) i具有相當好的檢測效能,且操作簡單,檢測時間僅需15分鐘,可提供臨床快速且準確的流感檢測結果。

Recently, a rapid detection system for influenza virus nucleic acid, Alere^(TM) i Influenza A&B, was launched to provide rapid influenza virus detection using isothermal amplification reaction technique. This study evaluated the efficacy of Alere^(TM) i Influenza A&B in detecting influenza virus. A total of 60 clinical samples were tested and Real-time PCR was used as a reference method to evaluate the detection efficiency of Alere^(TM) i. Alere^(TM) i has a sensitivity of 100% for detection of influenza A and a specificity of 95.1%; the sensitivity for detection of influenza B is 93.3% and the specificity is 100%. The results show that Alere^(TM) i has a very good performance for detection influenza virus. Alere^(TM) i operation is simple and the detention time is only 15 minutes, which can provide clinical rapid and accurate influenza test results.
