學習障礙兒童感覺整合治療效果之追蹝研究

The Effect of Sensory Integrative Therapy for Learning Disabled Children: A Follow-Up Study

摘要


本篇爲作者們于一九八三到八五年間在台北市立河堤國小所做之學習障礙兒童感覺整合治療效果研究之追蹝研究。八對研究個案於兩年後又接受了追蹝測驗。比較追蹝測驗與再測驗之結果,發現感覺整合治療之效果並未延續到兩年後,治療停止時學童之感覺整合問題尚未完全改善可能是影響治療之長期效果的原因之一。分析學童初測驗、再測驗、再追蹝測驗的分數,發現學童不論有無接受感覺整合治療,其感覺整合功能及視覺動作技巧均有持續的進步。但其學業成就,則隨年級的增加,課業之愈複雜而有退步的情形。

This is a follow-up study of a previous study on the effect of sensory integrative therapy on children with learning disabilities. Eight pairs of students of Her-Tea Primary School who had been chosen as the subjects of the previous study accepted a follow-up evaluation two years later. Comparing the results with the posttest scores of previous study, it was found that the treatment effect of sensory integrative therapy couldn't maintain for two years. Children of the treatment group still had some sensory integrative problems when the treatment discontiuned. This might have influenced the long-term effect of sensory integrative therapy. Analyzing the data of pretests, posttests and the follow-up evaluation, it was found that children in both treatment and untreatment groups could have improved sensory integration function and perceptual-motor skills. But they may show more severe problems on academic achievment when the school work gets more complex.
