A Study of the Validity and Reliability of a Prevocational Assessment for Clients with Psychiatric Disabilities

職前評估工具應用於台灣精神科病人之效度與信度的研究

摘要


本文旨在研究職前評估工具在精神科之應用,并完成:(一)建立一套中文版「職業決定系統」(CDM-R)之效度;(二)探討中文版「職業決定系統」應用於台灣精神科日間留院病人之再測信度。 由五位熟悉雙語的大學生,檢驗中文版「職業決定系統」與英文版CDM-R的一致性及其文化效度,再由23位台灣精神科日間留院的病人,於二個星期的間隔中,完成六項興趣量表的再測信度。 研究結果顯示,由英文翻譯成中文之「職業決定系統」內容相關係數爲.97到.99,而兩週間隔之再測信度相關係數爲.68到.84。故此一中文翻譯版「職業決定系統」是一套符合文化及可信的評估工具,可以提供台灣的職能治療師專業使用,決定精神科病人的職業興趣及協助設計職前訓練計畫,以提供精神科病人更有效的的職業復健服務。

The purposes of this study were to: 1) Develop a Chinese version of the Career Decision-Making System Revised (CDM-R), and establish cultural validity of the Chinese version; and 2) Assess test-retest reliability of the Chinese version of the CDM-R with psychiatric clients at day-care units in Taiwan. The cultural validity and the accuracy of Chinese version of the CDM-R were rated by 5 bilingual university students. Test-retest reliability was examined, using a sample of 23 psychiatric clients from a psychiatric day-care unit in Taiwan. Participants completed the Chinese version of the CDM-R twice within a two-week interval. Correlation on all interest scales of the English translated to Chinese versions of the CDM-R ranged from .97 to .99. Test-retest reliability correlation coefficient in a two-week interval for all interest scales of the CDM-R ranged from .68 to .84. The Chinese version of the CDM-R is a culturally appropriate and reliable tool for use by occupational therapists in Taiwan to determine the vocational interests of clients with psychiatric disabilities and to design their pre-vocational training.
