職能治療在台灣的變遷與未來願景

The Development and Prospect of Occupational Therapy in Taiwan

摘要

本文是作者以伴隨台灣職能治療成長32年的經驗，列舉近30年來台灣職能治療在發展上明顯而重要的事蹟：（1）設立職能治療學系（組），（2）使用職能治療師之專業職稱，（3）開辦證照考試，（4）職能治療人力之持績，（5）成立中華民國職能治療學會，並取得世界職能治療師聯盟會員國資格，（6）回國服務者增加，（7）教師層階的提昇，（8）研究的進階，（9）編制與員額的增列，及（10）領域之增闢等。作者更以其觀點提出台灣職能治療應發展的原則性方向：（1）以職能治療的哲學理念為願景，（2）以法（政策）為願景，（3）以現代科技成果為願景，（4）以專業態度或行為（professionalism）為願景，（5）以研究提升專業水準為願景。作者期望以過去的成果、將來的願景、現在的努力與職能治療伙伴們共勉之。

As an occupational therapist for 32 years, the author has gone through many significant milestones which Were occurred during the latest 30 years. The milestones author has pointed out are: (1) establishment of school for occupational therapist, (2) use of occupational therapist as a professional title,(3) starting national board examination, (4) continuation of manpower for occupational therapy services, (5) founding national association, (6) increase return of occupational therapists abroad,(7) advancement of teachers' rank, (8) research grand, (9) expansion of staffing, and (10) increase new fields of program. The author in terms of her own experience also proposes occupational therapists to follow: (1) the philosophy of occupational therapy, (2) the laws and policies, (3) modern science and technology, (4) professionalism, and (5) research as guidelines for further development of occupational therapy in this country. Based on the past achievements, the perspective vision and current effort, the author wishes to share results with all occupational therapists.
