摘要

本研究為了解目前我國護理之家及安養機構中提供物理治療的情況，利用電話查訪，共計成功訪問護理之家11所(l00%)，安養機構共計65所，佔全部所列安養機構之93%。在11所護理之家中，有9所(82%)提供物理治療，而其中8所（佔所有護理之家73%）為由專業物理治療師所負責提拱，但只有4所護理之家（佔所有護理之家36%）置有專任物理治療師之編制。在屬於療養性質之機構中，有8所(44%)提供物理治療相關業務，其中6所（佔所有療養性質之機構33%）為由專業物理治療師所負責提拱，而只有2所（佔所有療養性質之機構11%）置有專任物理治療師之編制。在屬於兼具扶養及療養性質之機構中，有7所(50%)提拱物理治療相關業務，其中6所（佔所有兼具扶養及療養性質之機構43%）為由專業物理治療師負責提拱，而只有3所（佔所有兼具扶養及療養性質之機構21%）置有專任物理治療師之編制。尚結果得知目前物理治療在機構式之長期照護中十分缺乏，其主要原因之一為健保未能給付此部份。在物理治療深入長期照護時，亦望醫療保險之給付可同時配合，使醫療資源公平分佈，病患得到最好的照護及治療。

The purpose of the present study is to investigate the physical therapy provided in long-term care facilities in Taiwan. Nursing home, facilities for disabled residents and facilities for both non-disabled and disabled residents are included in the study. Eleven (100%) nursing homes and 65 (93%) long term care facilities are interviewed by phone. There are 9 (82%) nursing homes provide physical therapy service. Eight of nine nursing homes provide physical therapy services by physical therapist (73% of the total nursing homes) and 4 of them have a full time job position for physical therapist (36% of the total nursing homes). Eight (44%) of the facilities which only take care of the disabled residents provide physical therapy services. Six of the eight facilities provide physical therapy services by physical therapist (33% of the total facilities with disabled residents) and 2 of such facilities offer a full time job position for physical therapy (11% of the total facilities with disabled residents). There are 7 (50%) long-term care facilities caring of both disabled and non-disabled residents provide physical therapy services. Six of such facilities provide their physical therapy services by physical therapist (43% of the total facilities with both disabled and non-disabled residents), and only 3 (21%) facilities offer a full time job position for physical therapy. Shortage of physical therapy in institutional long-term care is identified. Physical therapy should be encouraged to be involved in long-term care both in institution and in community. The reimbursement of physical therapy by health insurance should also be encouraged.
