飽和夯實土壤之動態性質

Dynamic Properties of Saturated Compacted Soils

摘要


飽和夯實土壤的動態性質是土石壩受震反應分析非常重要的參數。以傳統的飽和方法很難使夯實土壤達規範要求之飽和度,因此前人研究很少對飽和夯實土壤之動態性質作完整的探討。本研究以真空負壓的概念設計兩種飽和方法,分別用來飽和夯實砂性與粘性土壤,飽和結果顯示孔隙水壓參數B 值均可達到0.95以上。本研究試驗土樣取自某規劃中土石壩之借土區,以共振柱試驗系統量測土壤動態性質。試驗結果顯示飽和夯實土壤之動態性質與一般土壤及國內各土石壩材料之過去試驗結果有相當的差異,本研究迴歸最大剪力模數之經驗公式,整理動力性質曲線,提供土石壩工程參考使用。

Dynamic properties of saturated compacted soils are very important parameters in analyzing seismic responses of compacted earth dams. Few test results were found in the past literatures. Saturating the compacted soil specimens is very difficult by using traditional saturation methods to satisfy the requirement of test standard. Thus, the complete test results for dynamic properties are difficult to find in the past. This paper proposed two vacuum-saturation methods for improving the saturation of the compacted soils. One is for compacted cohesionless soils. The other is for compacted fine-graded soils. Test results showed that both methods can make the Skempton's coefficient B greater than 0.95 for all specimens. The testing samples from the borrow areas of a planning earth dam included SM, ML and CL soils. Complete dynamic properties of all three soils were measured by resonant column test (RCT). The measured properties included the maximum shear modulus and normalized modulus and damping ratio curves which are much different from the typical curves of ordinary soils and the other dam materials. The empirical equations correlating the maximum shear modulus, void ratio and effective confining pressure were proposed for different compacted soils.
