應用於生物醫學分析之微流體晶片

摘要


本文介紹以微影及蝕刻製程、雷射加工等微機電系統製程技術製作的石英及高分子微流體晶片。所製作的晶片透過電場驅動或水力集中的方式達到連續進樣、控制流體流向及離子霧化的目的。這些晶片經實驗證實可成功地應用於DNA片段的微電泳分析,細胞分類計數和peptide 鏈的氯基酸序列質譜分析。同時,本文亦介紹我們所開發出用於微流體晶片的高靈敏度感測元件,包括微流量感測器,表面溫度感測器的設計、製造和功能測試。

Several microfluidic modules are designed and fabricated on quartz/plastics substrates using MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical-Systems) technology including photolithography, etching and laser micromachining. Electrokinetic and hydrodynamic driving forces are applied for continuous sample injection, electrophoretic separation, electrospray formation and flow switching. Experimental data show that separation of DNA fragments, amino acid sequencing and cell sorting/counting can be executed using the microfluidic chips. Meanwhile, micro flow and temperature sensors are described in the present paper.
