This eassay critically reviewed Zongsan Mou's ontological Interpretation of Confucius's doctrine of REN, therefore, is readfined as an open-ended category, representing a performance, and a process. It is the REN understood as such that has led the Chinese culture to its openness and all-inclusiveness.
