摘要

本文談哲學在宗教與科學的對話中之貢獻。用郎尼根(Bernard Lonergan) 兩本書爲主：洞察(Insight: A Study of Human Understanding)和神學方法(Method in Theology)。本文主張哲學在宗教與科學的對話中有三個功能：(1)理解科學與宗教的知識，(2)提供正確的科學與宗教人學觀念，(3)提供宗教傳統研究的方法與詮釋。

This article discusses the contribution that philosophy can make to the religion and science dialogue. Two works of Bernard Lonergan are the basis of this study, Insight: A Study of Human Understanding (1992 [1957]) and Method in Theology (1972). Three functions of philosophy in the religion science dialogue are stressed: (1) an understanding of scientific and religious knowing, (2) providing an adequate understanding of the human person in both science and religion, and (3) providing a methodology and a methodology and a hermeneutic to study a religious tradition.
