並列摘要
Ecological problem is closely related with our life, so to understand deeply the environmental thoughts of ancient Chinese philosophers and modern western philosophers has become a very important topic in the subject of Philosophy of Life. So are we able to find the environmental ethics and their environmental consciousness to save the Nature from Chinese and western ecological wisdom? Therefore, firstly, the article tries to identify the schools of Chinese and western environmental thoughts. Secondly, it finds out environmental ethics from Chinese and western ecological wisdom. Finally, it induces environmental consciousness of chinese sages, and hopefully tries to do my best for the theoretical foudations of environmental practice in Taiwan.
