摘要

海德格是二十世紀深具影響力的思想家之一。他的主要代表作《存有與時間》被譽為劃時代的經典著作。書中闡述他的核心思想，他後來的其他著作均可視為此書思想的進一步發展。此書中所表達的思想及所使用的研究方法，對很多學術領域均形成很大的影響。項退結老師自一九六九年即開始不餘遺力地致力於海氏思想的研究，他對學術界最大的貢獻在於「努力研讀海德格艱澀難懂的原典，並以清晰且淺顯易懂的中文有系統地將海氏思想發表於學術期刊及出版書籍」，讓國人藉此得以認識與了解這位偉大思想家的思想。同時項老師還進一步將海氏思想與中國哲學思想加以對比與會通，讓東西方文化藉此得以對話與交流。項老師真不愧為一位真摯、負責與博學的當代學者。

Martin Heidegger is one of the most influential thinkers in the twentieth century .His main writtings which includes ”Being and Time” have been highly recommended. He explained the core of his thought in ”Being and Time”, and developed further in his other writtings. The thought and the method of ”Being and Time” have played an important role in many acadmetic fields. Professor Hang devoted himself to Heidegger's thought since 1969. His greatest contribution to the acadmetic field is to work on Heidegger's abstruce writtings first, and then distinctly express Heidegger's thoughts in a systematic way in Chinese by means of papers and writtings, so that we can through Professor Hang's eyes to understand and admire Heidegger's outstanding thoughts. Professor Hang's another contribution is to compaer and integreat Heidegger's thoughts with Chinese philosophy. Thus, through Professor Hang's great work the western thoughts can enter a field, where it starts dialogue and communicate with the eastern culture. We may say Professor Hang is indeed a sincere, responsible, and erudite scholar in our age.
