By way of a critique of McDowell’s criticism of Quine, it is shown that Quine's indeterminacy thesis, together with it main basis-physicalism, will result in the absurd idea that the world does not exist. It is also shown that McDowell's own idea of conceptualized world will vanish the unconceptualized environment forever from our conceptual or experiential horizon.
