書院學術研究條件的分析及現代啓示-以南宋書院爲例

An Analysis of the Research Conditions of Chinese Academies and Their Inspirations to Modern Education-The Academies of the Southern-Song Dynasty

摘要


由於書院自身的特殊性,使得書院與官學、私學有著顯著的差異,它有明確而且相對獨立的辦學目標,能為學術研究提供良好的物質條件,能為學者營造自由研究的學術氛圍,這使書院成為南宋理學-這一宋代高深學問的研究與傳播基地。嶽麓書院自宋代以來一直是湖湘文化的重鎮。修復嶽麓書院為學術研究提供了良好的平臺,嶽麓書院也利用其有利地位和豐富的學術研究成果為湖南大學服務,其中嶽麓書院為湖南大學實施文化素質教育提供強有力支持是最為典型的方式。

The specialties of academies obviously distinguish themselves from official and private institutes of education, having specific and relatively independent educational goals, providing good material conditions for academic research and shaping liberal atmosphere for scholars. In the Southern Song Dynasty, all these strengths made the academies the base of the research and circulation of Neo-Confucianism-the advanced learning of the Song Dynasty. The Yuelu Academy has been the capital of Huxiang culture ever since the Song Dynasty. The restored Yuelu Academy provides an excellent platform, exploiting its own advantaged status and solid academic achievement to assist Hunan University, and the most typical case is how the Yuelu Academy offers strong support for the cultural quality education of Hunan University.
