Death is an inevitable fact for all of us. Here we analyze what possibly causes the anxiety in the face of death. Then it is pointed out this anxiety requires not only the knowledge and techniques of psychology and psychiatric science but also some philosophical insights from approach of value reason so as to achieve whole person healing. However, it does not mean the anxiety one feels in face of death can be solved once and for all. Instead, the unremovable anxiety about death contains meaning of our own condition. Therefore, here we offer a few important philosophers' perspectives about death and death anxiety, in wishes to analyze the positive meaning of these perspectives regarding the reflection on the condition of mankind and provide modern people with an example about the confrontation with death anxiety.
