從朱利安的功效論談朱熹的「興」觀念

Research in "Xing" of Chu Hsi from Jullien's Study

摘要


朱利安提出的「功效論」包括勢、意、情、景、顯、隱等概念,這被他認為是中國傳統聖人思維中美學思想的幾個典型特徵。朱熹的詩學與美學思想與朱利安的思考在一定程度上有重合之處。於是,這就有助我們藉助朱利安的思想架構來挖掘出朱熹理學思想中暗含的美學思想。這種詮釋的優點在於跳脫了分科治學後產生的「觀念的偏見」,使我們能有機會重新回溯到朱熹理學思想的本真,進而可以理解朱熹美學思想的全貌。這樣,可以使朱熹的研究者們避免在某一個偏見的誘引下,滑落到對其思想理解的偏見陷阱之中。無疑,作為當代思想家的朱利安,為我們了解中國傳統文化,特別是朱子理學的實質內涵,提供了一條可用的詮釋之路。

Jullien's efficacité include that propension-will, emotion-landscape, manifest-hidden, which is considered as several typical characteristics of Chinese traditional thinking. There are same thinking that between Chu Hsi's poetics and aesthetics coincide with Julian's thinking. Therefore, it is possible for us to dig out the implicit ideas in Chu Hsi's aesthetics by means of Julian's ideological framework. The advantage of this interpretation is that it breaks away from the "prejudice of ideas" after the differentiation of scientific thinking, so that we can "what it is" of Chu Hsi's aesthetic thought. Undoubtedly, Jullien, as a contemporary thinker, provides us with a new way to understand the essence of Chinese traditional culture, especially the New-Confucianism of Chu Hsi.
