摘要

This paper examines the carrier paths and the connections of three arrangers and sound engineers of popular music in Abidjan (Ivory Coast). Through their family history, the multiple skills they have acquired in the music and sound professions, and the professional opportunities they have been able to seize, we will see how their artistic identity is constructed at the crossroads of a territorial attachment and an experience of the world. The paper starts with a portrait of these three 'makers of Ivorian music', before examining their multiculturality through the prism of an Ivorian history pulled in the opposite directions of cosmopolitanism and ethno-nationalism. Finally, we will show how their individual trajectories and creative resources embody a series of geographical and artistic shifts, that are characteristic of a situated multiculturality.
