王弼哲學思想中的自然概念

The Concept of Physis in Wang Bi's Philosophy

摘要


王弼的自然概念指向物,並包含兩個層面:其一是自己如此,此義最為直接顯明,但停留於形名層面;其二是由本源而如此,此義與玄德、常性、樸等概念共同指示著由本源之無而得的物之幽冥,由此可以將其理解為不自之然,並使得自己之然獲得成全。這也意味著在王弼那裡,有物雖不免於形名,但更重要的是本於無的存在論義涵。而王弼對物之自然結構的揭示,使得無為不再是抽象的理想,而可以落實為禮樂刑罰等具體的政治實踐。

The Concept of Physis in Wang Bi's Philosophy points to beings, and includes double meanings: one is so-by-oneself, which is very obvious but remains at form and name; the other refers to the dimness of beings originating from non-being together with dark virtue, constant nature, plainness and so on. The latter can be described as so-by-non-self which will accomplish the so-by-oneself. It implies that though possessing form and name, what's more, beings are provided with ontological content. And Wang Bi's revealment of the structure of beings' physis concretizes non-action into tangible political practice such as rites-music and punishment-governance.
