探討不同滲鋁源對FeCo合金之表面滲鋁改質氧化行為研究

The effects of various aluminizing sources on the oxidation behavior of the equimolar FeCo alloy

摘要


本研究是探討對FeCo二元合金的表面鋁化改質後,在700~900℃乾空氣氧化行為,選用Fe-Al(FeAl和Fe_2Al_5混合粉末)與純Al兩種滲鋁源的表面鋁化改質處理,瞭解FeCo顯微組織結構及抗氧化能力之差異性。結果顯示合金在滲鋁後之滲鋁層厚度相差一個數量級,其中用純Al粉當滲鋁源的滲鋁層厚度較厚。兩合金滲鋁層之Al含量的差異,以純Al粉當滲鋁源的滲鋁層的鋁含量高達70 at. %左右,而以Fe-Al粉當滲鋁源的滲鋁層的鋁含量則約50 at. %左右。另外、氧化動力學曲線皆遵守拋物線律,且氧化速率的差異不明顯。

This study mainly discussed the effects of aluminizing on the oxidation behavior of FeCo binary alloy at 700 ~ 900 ℃. Two different aluminized processes were introduced into the alloys, and the results showed that two differences were found, including the thicker thickness of the aluminized layer using pure Al powders with respect to that of Fe-Al powders. The second difference is the Al content in the aluminized layers of the two alloys, being about 70at. % pure Al powders with respect to about 50 at. % with Fe-Al powders. The oxidation kinetics of both aluminized alloys obeyed the parabolic law, and the oxidation rate constants of the aluminized FeCo alloys were nearly identical for the two Al sources.
