A continent cystostomy based on the design of Kock pouph was perfomed to treat a patient of severe pelvic fracture and urethral rupture. A segment of terminal ileum about 22cm was used to connect uninary bladder and the cutaneous stoma. Intussusception of ileum and fixation of the nipple valve were done under the principle of Kock pouch formation. Good result was achieved 3 weeks after operation. Patient is continent and has to catheterize 3 or 4 times per day by himself. For patient with complicated pelvic fracture and long urethral stricture that may result in urinary incontinence if urethrotomy is performed, such continent cystostomy is a good alternative of treatment.
