A 68-year-old male patient developed protressive leg weakness and neck pain. Two years perviously he suffered from a traffic accident and received cervical lamineectomy then. Neurological examinaton revealed bilateral hand muscle artophy and calw hand deformities. Generalized hyperreflexia was found., with spastic gait on walking. Myeligraphy showed a patent subarachnoid space. Computed tomographyh disclosed a promoinet intramediullary syrinx at the C3 to C5 vertebral levels. Futher surgical treatment was performed in theis case.
