摘要

本文論述目的是弄清楚什麼是關鍵詞、關鍵詞與主題詞的關係，為什麼要標引及如何標引關鍵詞。結果說明，依據文題，論文摘要和論文正文，從中找出能揭示論文主題中心內容的詞語。本文結論指出，關鍵詞既要反映論文主題中心內容，又要盡量選用詞表中的主題詞，並將最直接揭示論文主題的詞語列為首選，共選用3~10個為關鍵詞

This paper is to clarify the relationship between keyword and subject word and why and how to index keyword. It is demonstrated that the keywords are the key terms or short phrases based on or picked out from the title, the abstract and the main text, and can reveal the core content of the paper.
It is concluded that the keywords are not covering the main content of the paper but also using terms from the Medical Subject Headings list from Idex Medicus whenever possible. The key terms and short phrases exactly delineated the theme of the paper are at first choice and three to ten of them are perferable.
