Small Cell Carcinoma of Esophagus with Metastasis - Repot of A Case
食道小細胞癌併轉移－病例報告

A 60 years-old female patient had progressive dysphagia and enlarged right supraclavicular gradually for 4 months. Small cell carcinoma of the esophagus with right neck lymph node metastasis was diagnose after videoendoscopic examination, biopsy of the esophageal tumor, incisional biopsy of the right neck lymph node and immunohistochemical study. The patient underwent chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The esophageal tumor, right supreaclavicular lymph node shrinkaged markedly and the dysphagia subsided after chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The clinical course of the case was presented and the literatures concerning esophageal small cell carcinoma were reviewed. (Tzu-Chi Med J 1994; 6: 209-215)
