DNA Content of Gastric Cancer: A Flow Cytometry Study

骨癌病人之細胞去氧核糖核酸含量之細胞流動儀研究

摘要


本研究是以流動細胞儀分析胃癌病人的胃癌組織的去氧核糖核酸(DNA)含量。共有22位胃癌患者接受本項流動細胞儀研究,包括男性17位,女性5位。平均年齡為64.5歲,年齡範圍自36歲至84歲。胃腫瘤的外觀、大小、位置、侵犯深度及淋巴結轉移與否均記錄並分析。本研究中,共有12位胃癌病人之DNA為非雙套體,佔54.5%,而胃癌組織之DNA為雙套體的有10位,佔45.5%。胃癌組織之DNA含量與年齡,性別,腫瘤大小,腫瘤位置並無有意義差別。有淋巴結轉移之胃癌病人中有63.6%為非雙套體DNA。外觀為Borrmann第二型之4例胃癌病人均為非雙套體。外觀為Borrmann第三型胃癌病人中,有半數病人為DNA非雙套體,其餘半數病人則為DNA雙套體,早期胃癌病人有5位,其中4位病人之胃癌組織DNA為雙套體。我們的結果顯示胃癌組織之DNA含量與年齡,性別,腫瘤大小,腫瘤位置並無有意義差別。DNA含量與Borrmann分類型態亦無有意義差別(P=0.109)。進行性胃癌病人有百分之六十以上為DNA非雙套體,早期胃癌病人有百分之八十為DNA雙套體。早期胃癌或進行性胃癌之DNA含量亦無有意義的差別(P=0.21)。

The DNA ploidy of gastric adenocarcinoma was analysed by flow cytomtric study. There were 22 patients of gastric adenocarcinoma including 17 male, 5 female patients received the flow cytometric study. The mean age was 64.5 years-old with range of 36 years-old to 84 years-old. The tumor was classified according to the macroscopic appearance. The size, location, depth of invasion and lymph node metastasis was recorded for analysis. Aenuploid was observed in 54.5% (12/22) of the patients with gastric adenocarcinoma. Diploid was observed in 45.5% (10/22) of the patients with gastric adenocarcinoma. Aneuploidy was found to be 63.6% of the gastric adenocarcinoma with regional lymph node metastasis. There is no significant difference between the ploidy of the tumor and the age, sex, size and tumor location. Terer were 4 patients of Borrmann’s type II gastric cancer and all these adenocarcinoma showed aneuploidy. Half of the patients with Borrmann’s type III gastric cancer showed aneuploidy while the other half patients showed diploidy pattern. There were 5 patients of early gastric cancer and diploidy was observed in 4 of the 5 patients. Our results showed that the DNA ploidy had no significant difference between the age, sex, tumor size and tomor location. Aneuploidy DNA was found to be more than 60% in advanced gastric adenocarcinoma and diploid DNA was found to be 80% of early gastric cancer. However, there is no significant difference between the ploidy pattern and the types of Borrmann’s classification (p=0.109) and no significant difference of ploidy pattern between the early or advanced gastric cancer (p=0.21) in our study at present.
