The paper is mainly to study the parameters that should be considered in mixture design to resist salt and sulfate attacks under marine environment. The test result shows concrete propertes designed by densified mixture design algorithm, follows the specification of ACI 318-95 ”Structural Concrete,” and base on the criteria of water-to-binder ratio less than 0.4, less water amount and proper addition of pozzolanic materials. Such concrete possesses high resistivity and low chloride ion penetrability. Less spalling is observed by accelerating sodium sulfate soaking and drying test in this study as compared to other concrete.
