建築物耐震性能設計採用直接位移設計法之效益

Benefit of Using Direct Displacement-based Design Method in the Performance-based Seismic Design of Buildings

摘要


直接位移設計法一直被視為耐震性能設計最有潛力之簡便初步設計法之一,該方法以位移限度為標準進行目標導向設計,非常適合於控制結構變位之設計。本文說明耐震性能設計應用強度設計法與直接位移設計法之設計流程差異性,並提出-簡便有效之設計流程,提升設計效率。最後,以一RC建築物為例說明該設計流程,並以非線性靜力側推分析驗證直接位移設計法相較於強度設計法之效益。

A direct displacement-based design approach has been recognized as one of the most potential methods for a simple- and easy-to-use preliminary design when using performance-based seismic design methodology. Such a method is oriented by displacement limit. Therefore, it is very suitable for a design to control structural displacement. This paper describes the difference in the design flowchart by applying a displacement-based design method from using a force-based method in the performance-based seismic design. The paper also focused on proposing a simple but efficient design procedure to increase design efficiency. Finally, the design procedure is described by using a RC building as example. Nonlinear static pushover analysis has been adopted to demonstrate the benefit of a displacement-based design over a traditionally force-based design method.
