摘要

國內營造業素有經濟火車頭之稱，惟近年來國內營造業不但面臨經濟不景氣之威脅，更得面臨來自國際營造業之全球競爭，故如何提昇國內營造業之競爭力，如何適當研擬有效之管理策略實有加以研究之必要。本研究旨在應用DEA法，根據國內主要營造業廠商之客觀生產力資料，試圖分析其相對之生產效率及其相對無效率之可能改進方向及建議。
本研究係以2001年至2005年500大服務業排行榜中的工程承攬業（即營造業）中，選取五個年度均進榜且資料齊全之29家廠商爲決策單位(DMU)，利用資料包絡分析法(DEA)來評估總技術效率，並以Malmquist指數進行生產力變動趨勢分析，藉以探討各受評廠商跨期的效率變動情形，並嘗試找出各類型廠商之共通性及生產管理問題，俾進一步提出適當的經營與管理策略建議。

Taiwan's construction industries have been praised as economic locomotive engine. It not only faced the threat with depressed domestic economy in recent years, but also had to face with the global competition of worldwide construction industries even more. So how to promote the competitiveness of Taiwan's construction industries is indeed an important issue.
This study applies Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) to assess the performances of Taiwan's construction industries. Furthermore, we also adopt Malmquist Productivity Index (MPI) to obtain the estimated changes of the total factor productivity for Taiwan's construction industries during 2001~2005. Finally, we attempt to propose appropriate management strategies for Taiwan's construction industries.
