Current Status of HPV Vaccine Clinical Trials for Prevention of Human Cervical Cancer in Taiwan

HPV vaccination is one of the top 10 medical/health stories in the 21(superscript st) Century. It is a first step toward HPV infection control and cervical cancer prevention. This is a very promising area of clinical trial and we do hope HPV vaccines can be available soon for clinical use within the next five years. NTUH and Taiwan, at this moment, play an important partnership in this campaign against human cervical cancer.
