醫療品質之最佳實務運作模式

Best Practice Models for Health Care Quality

The health care industry involves the birth, aging, illness, and death of people. Their organization structure and expertise involved are far more complex and diversifying than ordinary industrial organizations. How to run this kind of organization well is always a challenging issue. In this article, the author illustrates how CSQ 'Excellence Performance Model' can be applied by utilizing the seven critical elements: 'Leadership, Strategic Planning and Innovation, Patients and other Customers as well as Market, Resource Management, Process Management, Information and Knowledge Management, Business Results'. Some examples are included. Besides, the following questions such as: 'What to do?', 'How to do?', 'Is it good enough?' and 'Is the result acceptable?' are kept asking with respect to the Plan-Do-Check-Action stages. As one uses this approach in his/her organization, the PDCA continuous improvement wheel will be turned on and kept running.
