關稅、國際收支與外匯存底

摘要

目前世界各國多數實施固定匯率制度的國家，均面臨國際收支持續逆差與外匯存底不斷流失的窘境，因此本文依循Mundell-Fleming模型與Frenkel-Rodriguez(1982)文獻，將之修正及延伸爲一個可以分析進口關稅政策的固定匯率制度模型，據以探討關稅政策的實施對國際收支與外匯存底所造成的長期影響。

Developing countries adopting the fixed exchange rate regime often face a situation of continuous deficit in the balance-of-payments and unceasing loss in foreign exchange reserve. Inspired by Mundell-Fleming's and Frenkel-Rodriguez's (1982) work, this study builds a modified model to analyze the long run effect of tariff policies on the balance-of-payments and foreign exchange reserve for these countries.
