本試驗乃探討草莓春香品種,利用平地育苗、盆缽育苗,或經假植、遮蔭、冷藏等處理,對草莓植株生育及產量之影響,並尋求最適宜之育苗方法來提早草莓產期之可行性。74年9月於花蓮縣吉安鄉(本場)進行試驗,結果顯示:草莓植株生育各處理間除初期生育差異顯著外,其餘中、末期生育差異不顯著。冷藏苗雖可提早開花結果,但草莓果實極小或尚未成熟即已枯死,品質不佳,無商品價值。各處理間無論是初期產量或總產量,皆以平地假植30天並以50%遮光率寒冷紗遮蔭之處理效果最佳,且可提早採收期,產量最高,每十公畝產量為1,906公斤;值得種植草莓的農友採行。
This experiment was conducted at Chi-An, Hualien to study the effect of seedbed nursery, pot nursery and transplanting-shading-chilling treatments on the flowering and yield of runner plants of Harunoka Strawberry. The results from Oct. 1985 to May 1986 showed that the runner plants growth were different significantly among treatments in early growth stage. Chilling promoted the flowering and harvesting but caused small or dead fruits with low economic value. The highest primary and total yields was obtained from the treatment with raising seedling with 30 days transplanting in nursery and covered with 50% black shading net (1,906 kg/10 a) during nursery stage. This method probably could be recommended to the local strawberry growers according to the experimental results obtained in this study.
