利用硫酸鈣(鏑)熱發光劑量計測定醫用線性加速器產生之10 MeV-X光在假體內之劑量分佈

摘要


目前一般較大規模之醫院均設置有線性加速器,利用其產生之高能電子及光子治療惡性腫瘤。照射治療病人之體內劑量分佈資料是醫生決定治療方法之重要依據。本文描述利用硫酸鈣(鏑)熱發光劑量計測定醫用線性加速器(Mevatron XII型)產生之10 MeV X光在水假體內劑量分佈的過程及結果。內容尚包括平衡厚度之測定,TLD對10 MeV X光之特性曲線,10MeV X光之尖峯散射因數及10x10平方公分照野之假體等劑量曲線,並與原廠提供之資料相比較。

Some hospitals in Taiwan have installed linear accelerator for radiation therapy by use of X-ray or high energy electron beam. Isodose curve inside the water phantom is one of the basic data in radiotherapy. The accurate measurement of isodose curve is very important. This paper is dealing with the process and result of dose distribution measurement by use of TLD-CaSO_4: Dy, including the measurement of charge equlibrium depth to 10 MeV X-ray, the characteristic curve of TLD-CaSO_4: Dy, peak scatter factor of 10 MeV X-ray, and the isodose curve for 10 X 10 cm^2 field size in water phantom. Finally, the isodose curve measured by us is compared with that provided by Siemens Co.
