Automated Plastic Scintillation Filament Detector System for 14CO2 Breath-Analysis Test

利用於14CO2呼氣分析之自動化塑膠閃爍絲偵檢器系統

摘要


本研究之目的在發展新的自動化塑膠閃爍絲偵檢器系統,以應用於病人呼氣中14CO2含量之分析,所有的偵視吵驟及數據之處理概由Rockwell AIM-65微電腦控制及處理。本系統之靈敏度及穩定度均甚佳,頗適合於診斷學之應用,這套自動化偵測系統之靈敏度為1,200cpm/pCi/1氣體,最低偵測極限為8.02×10^(-2)nCi/1,計測效率為38.7%。本報告除偵檢器之說明外,還包括電子計算機與各週邊設施之界面設計,及應用於脂肪不正常吸收病例之偵測結果。

The purpose of this study is to develop a new automatic plastic scintillation filament detector system which is controlled by a Rockwell AIM-65 microcomputer. This detection system has high sensitivity and stability and is suitable to be used in diagnostic applications. The sensitivity of this detection system is about 1,200 cpm/pCi/1 of gas, the lowest detection limit is 8.02×10^(-2) nCi/1, and the counting efficiency is 38.7%. Interfaces between computer input/output ports and each peripheral device have been designed. An AIM-65 microcomputer is then used to automatically control all the test procedures, process data and print results.
