Computed Tomography of Wilms' Tumor in Children
小兒韋姆氏腫瘤的電腦斷層掃描
摘要
台大醫院利用電腦斷層掃描(CT)分析十個經外科及病理證實為韋姆氏腫瘤(Wilms' tumor)之小兒病例，發現兩大特徵：(1)腫瘤壞死及囊腫變性佔89%, (2)假性被膜佔78%。然而，腫瘤對腎周圍的擴散，下腔靜脈的侵犯，淋巴結的轉移及遠端轉移，係手術前分期的要素；CT的辨識可提供達78%的正確率。

The utility of computed tomography (CT) in characterization of Wilms' tumor was assessed in 10 children and compared with that of surgical & pathologic evidence. Tumor necrosis or cystic degeneration (89%) and a tumor pseudocapsule (78%) were major presentations. Determination of the perinephric extension, venous invasion, lymph node involvement and distant metastases were essential in staging of the disease. Of these, CT scans allowed correct diagnosis in 78% of patients.
