Aneurysm of the hepatic artery can rupture into biliary system and cause hemobilia that may be lethal. We here report a case of massive hemobilia caused by a secular aneurysm of the right hepatic artery that was successfully treated by transarterial embolization. In order to prevent recurrence of the aneurysm, we not only embolized completely the chamber of aneurysm but also the hepatic arterial lumen around and proximal to the orifice of the aneurysm simultaneously.
