A 63-year-old female suffered from pain over left upper quadrant of abdomen. Ultrasound examinations disclosed a heterogeneous echogenic lesion measuring 6x6 cm, at the upper pole of the left kidney. Non-contrast computed tomography (CT) scan revealed a left suprarenal tumor with low attenuation but peripheral enhancement of this lesion was shown after administration of contrast medium. Magnetic resonance (MR) imaging confirmed the tumor mass arising from the left adrenal gland with progressive centripetal enhancement after administration of contrast medium. After tumor resection, the pathologic result was an adrenal hemangioma.
