使用分房乳乳成分及導電度檢測泌乳牛乳房炎

Detecting Mastitis of Dairy Cows in Quarter Milk Using Milk Composition and Electrical Conductivity

摘要


本研究目的在使用分房乳乳成分及其導電度相關參數對泌乳牛乳房炎感染程度進行分級檢測,以作為乳房炎的防治參考;採集泌乳牛分房前乳乳樣,量測其體細胞數、乳成分及導電度值,由分房乳體細胞數的多寡區分健康、輕微感染、嚴重感染三種乳房炎等級;由乳成分檢測中可得到脂肪(FAT)、蛋白質(PROT)、乳糖(LACT)、總固形物(TS)及無脂固形物(SNF)等含量的乳成分參數;而由單一頭泌乳牛的四個分房乳導電度(EC)可計算出導電度相關參數,包括導電度比值(ECR)、導電度比值最大值(ECRM)、導電度差值(BCD)及導電度差值比值(ECDR):分析探討乳成分參數及導電度相關參數對乳房炎感染等級的檢測效率,藉由變異數分析及相關性分析,選擇EC、ECR、ECRM、PROT及LACT五個鑑別分析參數;再經由逐步迴歸分析挑選ECR、PROT及EC三個主要的檢測參數,進行分房乳乳房炎感染等級的鑑別分析,由分析結果可得到EC與LACT有高的負相關係數(0.92), 對健康等級的鑑別正確率為88.6%,對輕微感染等級的鑑別正確率為47.1%,對嚴重感染等級的鑑別正確率為61.1%,而對所有乳房炎感染等級的整體鑑別正確率為84.2%。

The purpose of this study is to detect and grade the dairy cow mastitis in quarter mild by using the milk composition and the electrical conductivity (EC) related parameters. This would be helpful for the health of dairy cows’ udder, and used as a guide for the prevention and treatment of mastitis. The quarter milk of dairy cows in foremilk was sampled and examined for its somatic cell count (SCC), milk composition and EC. Based on the colostral SCC scale, quarters of dairy cows were classified into three mastitis levels: healthy, slight infected or serious infected. The detected composites of milk comprised fat (FAT), protein (PROT), lactose (LACT), total solid (TS) and solid-not-fat (SNF). The electrical conductivity related parameters, including electrical conductivity ratio (ECR), electrical conductivity ratio maximum (ECRM), electrical conductivity difference (ECD) and electrical conductivity difference ratio (ECDR), would be calculated through the four-quarter milk conductivity for a single dairy cow. The milk composition and electrical conductivity related parameters would be investigated and analyzed the efficacy of mastitis level detection for dairy cows. From the variance analysis and correlation analysis, the 5 discriminated parameters EC, ECR, ECRM, PROT and LACT were selected. According to stepwise analysis, the three chief discriminated parameters are ECR, PROT and EC. Then through the quarter milk mastitis infection analysis, three mastitis levels were obtained. The correlation between EC and LACT is -0.92. The detection accuracy percentage in the healthy, slight infected and serious level were 88.6%, 47.1% and 61.1%, respectively. However, the average accuracy in all three levels was 84.2 %.
