海島型複合纖維補強複合材料之物理性質探討

Investigation of the Physical Properties of Sea-island Conjugated Fiber Reinforced Composites

摘要


本研究主要探討聚丙烯/聚對苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PP/PET)海島型複合短纖維添加於PP高分子中對力學性質的影響。結果顯示,當PP/PET海島型複合短纖維含量在PP/PET纖維補強複合材料中達到5 wt%,且添加3.5 phr相容化劑聚丙烯接枝馬來酸酐(PP-MAH)時,相較於PP,其抗張強度增加14.9%,楊式模數增加13.8%,但其斷裂伸長率下降至20.0%。

In this study, the effect of polypropylene/polyethylene terephthalate(PP/PET)sea-island conjugated staple on the mechanical properties of PP was investigated. Compared to PP, tensile strength and Young's modulus of the PP/PET fiber reinforced composite with 5 wt% of PP/PET sea-island staple fiber and 3.5 phr of compatibilizer polypropylenegraft-maleic anhydride (PP-MAH) are improved by 14.9% and 13.8%, respectively; however, the elongation at break decreased to be 20.0%.
