Preparation and Thermal Properties of ABS/MMT Compsites

摘要


本研究以ABS作為基材,分別添加不同含量1.5、3及4.5 wt%之MMT於ABS中,利用捏合機製備ABS/MMT之複合材料。探討在不同蒙托土(MMT)的含量下,複合材料之熱性質。由實驗結果得知,熱變形溫度均隨著MMT含量增加而增加;熱傳導係數隨著MMT含量增加,有些微上升,而裂解溫度及熔融溫度均隨著MMT含量增加,有些微下降。故整體而言,添加少量MMT對熱變形溫度有大幅改善的效果。

The purpose of this research is to prepare ABS/MMT composites in various MMT with 1.5, 3 and 4.5 wt%. We use kneader to melt the products, and use injection molding to obtain the specimen. The composites thermal properties were measured. The experimental results show that the increase of MMT content will increase heat distortion temperature. The increase of MMT content will no significant change thermal conductivity, decomposition temperature and melting temperature. However, the adding a little MMT content in composites which will enhance the thermal properties.
