In this study, a series of 3-(N, N-diethyl) aminoacetanilide-derived monoazo disperse dyes were synthesized and used to dye polyester in supercritical carbon dioxide and discuss the effect of adding halogen atoms in the ortho position on the dyeing intensity and dyeing fastness was investigated. The study found that the K/S value of the dye V3 is 20.02, the relative dye uptake is 78.11%, and the K/ S value of the dye V4 is 20.563, the relative dye uptake is 86.43%, and the K/S value of the dye V5 is 17.532, the relative dye uptake is 81.42%. It can be seen that dye V4 and dye V5 are suitable for supercritical carbon dioxide dyeing of polyester fabrics. The dyeing fastness results show that the, dye V3, dye V4and dye V5 all meet the commercial dyeing fastness requirements of grades 3-4.
