將紡織廢料導入新永續循環之零廢棄服裝設計方法

The Zero-waste Fashion Design Approach to Facilitate Textile Waste into a New Sustainable Cycle

摘要


本研究試圖探討能同時達成「解決既存廢料」及「避免再產生浪費」的永續服裝設計可行方案,首先以文獻探討方式分析及歸納既存之零廢棄設計模式,進而開發出一套高效能的新型設計方法;接著以實地考察方式評估各種紡織廢料的特性及活用現況,以找出最適用於本研究之素材—打樣碼布;最後將以上兩者結合,統整出具永續循環概念之實際解決方案。研究結果證實,此一套用在紡織廢料上的零廢棄設計方法,不僅活用了打樣碼布這項當前被閒置的廢棄資源,也同時提供了一套能不再製造浪費的生產模式,進而改善邊角廢料生成的問題。期待以此研究為基礎,建構一全新永續循環,讓紡織廢料得以在其中化為有用資源。

The aim of this study is to find out a feasible sustainable fashion design solution that can simultaneously achieves the goals of solving existing waste and avoiding future waste. First, we analyzed and summarized the existing zero-waste design models through literature review and then developed a new effective design logic based on their advantages. Second, we evaluated the properties and current utilization of various textile wastes by on-site investigation to find out the most suitable material for this study-sample yardage, which is the factory surplus waste leftover from textile sample manufacturing. Finally, we combined the above results to integrate a practical solution based on the concept of sustainable circulation. The result of this study confirms that this design approach applied to sampling yardage not only makes good use of the currently idle waste resource, but also provides a production mode which can no longer generate fabric scraps after cutting. Based on this study, it is expected that a brand-new sustainable cycle can be built to turned textile waste into useful resources.
