Based on the protection of human rights, the use of police weapons by foreign police has a trend toward less-lethal weapons. Moreover, the traditional police equipment used by the police in our country is no longer able to cope with the various situations faced by the police on duty. Therefore, stun guns are introduced to the police to wear on duty. However, the use of stun guns by the police involves the basic rights of people’s life, body, and property. This article will conduct in-depth interviews with experts and scholars who are familiar with this topic and conduct a feasibility analysis based on the dynamic and static data obtained and serve as the reference for legislation.
