摘要

應用於智慧型手機之中英文人名合成技術，將聯絡簿內中英文人名合成為語音，成為聲控或手動撥話時之系統確認回應，在手持裝置有限的記憶體與運算量之下，中文人名合成達到令人滿意的合成品質，英文人名合成則視分割單元的多寡而定，分割單元越少則合成品質越高。

This paper talks about a Chinese/English name Text-to-Speech technology applied on smart phones. It synthesizes Chinese/English names in the contact book to be the system prompts of play-out under voice-command or hand-control. The synthesis quality of Chinese name is satisfying under limited memory and computing power on handheld device. The synthesis quality of English name depends on the numbers of division units-the less division units, the better synthesis quality.
