摘要

隨著各種網路電話(Voice over IP; VoIP)的服務出現，越來越多人開始使用網路電話。而對等式(Peer-to-peer; P2P)網路這種不需要中央集權式伺服器的架構，有著良好的擴展性、強韌性與容錯能力，因此可以用來做為提供VoIP服務的平台。利用P2P架構來提供網路電話的服務，具備了自我組織、隱密與資源共享等優點。本文主要在剖析各類型P2P系統的特色，同時探討P2P系統與VoIP的結合。文中除了分析P2P VoIP的優缺點之外，也介紹了P2P VoIP的發展現況。最後則對P2P VoIP的未來發展提出看法與建議。

As the various kinds of Voice over IP (VoIP) services appear, more and more people begin to use the service of VoIP. Peer-to-peer (P2P) network has a decentralized structure with good scalability, robustness and fault-tolerant capability. It is therefore suitable for VoIP service. P2P VoIP has the properties of self-organization, privacy and resource sharing. This paper analyzes the characteristics of several P2P systems and investigates the VoIP service over P2P networks. The benefits and disadvantages of P2P VoIP are listed in the article. Finally, the current progress and future development of P2P VoIP are given as concluding remarks.
